After graduation Zak pursued a career in dance with scholarship at The New Dance Group and also attended The Martha Graham School. At this time Zak also began pursing writing and production. His first show "Same Boys, Different Women" played to sold out audiences at The Duplex Cabaret Theater. Next he was asked to work as associate producer on the Cabaret Today Awards, a parody awards show created by Impressario Greggory Kennell. From there he went to work on other off off broadway productions such as Skip Costa's Rock Stars NYC and Pam Ann's "Come Fly with Me."
      After graduating The New School with his BFA in Theater Management Zak joined the cast of the Al and Patty show, an underground New York performance troupe, and continues to write and act for the pleasure of the masses. Zak also works as an independent promotion and marketing consultant and has worked with many small shows and nightclubs as a promoter and publicist.
